Yeah, the country is torn apart yet most people seem to be pretty welcoming and friendly as seen in the second video I posted. Wouldn't mind visiting it as I tend to like post-Soviet urban landscapes.

''I am even uncomfortable to talk about it''

Unfortunately we are extremely familiar with that.

Thank you for making me discover the channel btw.

His channel is nice, he is a a British blogger that likes to visit and stay for a short to medium period in unusual destinations and tries to be as immersive as possible. Currently he makes a living out of the Youtube money his videos generate which is more than enough for him to sustain himself in countries where the majority of things are pretty cheap for Western standards.

I wish all the best. It is really terrible when politicians mess everything up.

Shameful. Moldova's allies should be stepping in to help. It shouldn't be possible in the modern era to launder stolen public funds into first world nations.

I don't really believe what something here will change for the better. This country lose her people year by year, especially young people, so the future is not so bright, plus corruption is a big problem.

There is almost zero knowledge about Moldova in our country, but in Czech shops is possible to buy Moldovian wine.
Anyway, Czech wikipedia says that the best ime to visit Moldova for tourists is in October when wine is harvesting and various wine-festivals are taken place, there.

Tourism could be the first industry what can improve some things. There are are more poor countries in the world and investments to tourism helps, there.
