yea a lot of dudes got hurt around that time, Undertaker, the Rock, Stone Cold, it was a really tough time for WWE I imagine. Undetakers biker gimmick was almost purely a result of his injury if memory serves correct.

97-2000 was the absolute best imo, if you have the WWE network you can probably check out a lot of those old story lines and matches. Even some of the "Jobber" gimmicks were gold, like Al Snow and Head, the Oddities, Too Cool etc.
