I have pros and cons about both. I prefer my mom's salad, for example, because I order her what I want to add. Usually, it's more expensive to have lunch at restaurants than buy rice, beans, meat, and make your own food. In the other hand, some restaurants do offer some types of food that I can't get cooking at my home. For example, my mom doesn't know how to prepare arab or some italian dishes which I like a lot. What do you think about this?

XD That women's tradition to cook is dying right now in the west. My mom, for example, started to cook at her 8. My 14 old sister doesn't know even how to fry an egg. A pity.

Yeah, its sad, very sad. Thats why Americans get so fat, too much eating out and fast food.

Homemade for me. Restaurant food tends to be too greasy and salty.

Restaurant food because I am not an amazing chef and you can get pretty diverse and good stuff round here quite cheap.

But I cook what I can and enjoy it especially easy meals like this one tastes fucking great.

Is it a soup with vegetables? Indeed it is easy. Just throw some water and vegetables on the pan and boil them.
