I tried looking for some stats about Afghans, only thing I came up with is this, it's been taken from a previous thread :

"The Afghans and Pathans, like the Persians, are usually brunet, and at the same time show a persistent minority of blondism, which in this case reflects Nordic admixture. They are heavy-bearded, and possess heavy body hair. Their facial features show a maximum of bony relief, and, on the whole, their facial skeletons seem much heavier and much more strongly marked than those of the more delicate Arabian Mediterraneans. They possess, in common with the Arabian Mediterranean group, a sharpness in definition of feature which stands in contrast to the coarser lineaments of the average Mesopotamian countenance.

In respect to the Dardic group, we have a certain amount of published and unpublished information which will be useful here.25

The Kafirs of the Kati tribe, who live in the easternmost section of Kafiristan, are taller and larger-headed than the Pathans, but still essentially dolichocephalic and leptorrhine.26 They seem also to possess a high ratio of blondism. By aryan do you mean steppe admixture? And I agree partly, these players imo look to have some form of indid admixture, or I think it could be the "indo Afghan" variant of the easteen Iranian plateau.

Cricket wasn't even known up until 10 ish years ago in Afghanistan. The older generation (now) brought cricket from their time as refugees in Pakistan to Afghanistan. Now its quite popular among the youth since the national team has been so successful. They truly are inspirational to many people.

Which 3? I woukdve guessed more than just 3 tbh.

Going by their names and region, all of them are Pashtuns from the eastern part of Afghanistan. Logar, nangarhar, mainly with some from paktia and kabul. One is from kundoz.

I actually don't know, other than the fact that football is very popular in afganistan, but the corrupted board and Co has ruined it for the youth. The national team is pretty shit compared to the cricket team, who are in the world Cup, a massive achievement, especially beating Pakistan haha
