I'd really hope that I can but I have straight/wavy hair, even though my skin color matches.

I haven't seen you so I can't say for sure, but some Indians can. This guy shaved his hair and passed as black. Maybe if you shave your hair and change your name to Leroy or Tyrone you could become a brotha?
