If you have full British or NW Europen background and your getting East Slavic 44.51% then this Calc cant be right.

No this calc is not good ...because many members who have real Slavic components posted their results and also full British members who most likely dont really have much Slavic posted results and the difference between the two is minimal eg maybe difference of 2 or 3 , it shows this Calc cannot really differentiate between real Slavs and non Slavs.

As a comparison For example the Eurogenes calculator can differentiate between NW Europeans and East Europeans by measuring Atlantic score and Baltic score , and East Euro score and usually these measurements are consistant with users ethnic bakground.

But this calculator does not show consistancy with user background ... how can a North west European get almost same Slavic score as an East European ...this is BS calc.

But it still scores some North West Europeans with Slavic scores in the early to low 40's .
It seems to not score Southern Europeans high ...but it seems to not be able to differentiate much between North West Euro and North East Euro/East Euro. It seems not very good Calc to distinguish well real Slavic from North Euro.

There is a couple full British people who posted and their scores on this are between 42 to 44
then a Russian guy posts and his score is 48 and a Slovak guy score is 46 how can difference between a Slovak and a full British be only between 46 to 44 ... it shows simply this calculator doesnt work properly in distinguishing actual Slavic component.

I'm still very ignorant on population genetics, but it looks to me that this calculator only measures ancient components, not actual Slavic, which would make sense, since indo-Europeans came from the east, after all.

Edit: it could be some ancient indo-European element that peaks on current Slavic populations, and that's why they name it "Slavic"

Yes, calc, as ph2ter said is probably good just for Russians(and other East Slavic's), my result is almost as any British which is odd.
