My grandmother was Lithuanian Just wondering if that show at all in me i.e. Balitc/East Euro

Dark hair seems rather uncommon there, although my grandmother had dark hair. She also had a lot of blonde haired blue eyed people in her family.

I’m usually quite generous with this and I think most Europeans would reasonably pass throughout most of Europe. In your case though, you would look rather weird in here, let alone further east. It is not like absolutely everyone would be instantly able to tell, but still, you look incredibly western.

It's not hair color that sets you apart, it's your features. I've encountered a lithuanian with your pigmentation but the morphology of his face was different. He had a broader head, stronger cheekbones, more robust in general. I'm sure there are lithuanians and/or russians who might resemble you but they wouldn't be typical.

Don't see why you cannot. Even though you don't look 100% eastern European or Baltic.

Bias is so strong here that if you were Lithuanian and ask if you could pass in Germany, they will still say no. Lmao.

I don't think you pass. You have foreign-western look for my country, so I doubt you would look native like further east.


You can easily pass in Romania. I don't see anything Baltic/Baltid in you.

How many times does it have to be repeated that it has hardly anything to do with passing / not passing in certain areas of Eastern Europe?

The OP pass better in Bulgaria and Romania. His features are alien for Baltic countries.

I think you might pass in Central Europe and Balkans but for Eastern Europe, I think you look a bit Western compared to them.

Romanians aren't Slavs. Romanians speak a Romance language. Similar to French, Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese etc.

Romanians aren't Slavs, they are Latins. You are probably thinking of East Europe as being a homogeneous region, but it's not. Romania is at the crossroads of Central and Southeastern Europe.

That's a pretty good pick.

Basically, in Western Europe you pass only in England and on the border between France and Germany (including Switzerland).
In Eastern Europe in Romania alone.
