I think he looks like a Gracile-Med, but with dark skin. He's probably like 75-80% European and the rest a mix of Amerindian and SSA. If he was lighter skinned he would look fully European/Portuguese.


He does look mixed, but I don't know where.

True. I used to think he looked very mixed, but it's just the dark skintone that makes him look off for Iberia/Southern Europe.

The company that test him (Genera) is very realiable when it comes to the intercontinental aspect, not so much when it comes to the intracontinental. So his score of caucasian, african and native is most likely accurate.

Latin Americans often are deluded on that subject, people guessing that Romario was 80% European or even Octoroon were completely mistaken, many people with 60-65% Euro ancestry can come out mostly Euro looking with some mixed features like Romario. ''Octoroons'' often look almost European if not wholly European in the vast majority of cases.

I've seen the DNA result of footballer Gilberto Silva, who looks less Euro than Romario, and he is 45% European, 35% African and 15% Amerindian. Most Brazilian pardos are by far in the 45-65% European range.
