Here are some DNA results of ethnic Chams from Vietnam (I assumed they are based on their names)
The Chams seem to have Indian influence in their culture, religion, traditions and this seems to reflect in their DNA.
1. Cham #1: Im guessing she is ethnic Cham as her email and many of her facebook friends has the lastname "Cham" from Vietnam. Also in many calculators, she is modelled as Dai (one of the closest ethnic groups to Vietnamese)+various South Asian/Indian populations.

PuntDNAL Global K13: Here she score around 13% South Asian and 6.3% Caucasoid/West Eurasian admixture. Once again, she can be modelled as mostly Dai+various Indian populations. It's also interesting that she can be modelled as mostly Thai+ some Viet or some Southern Chinese indigenous populations such as Miaozu, Lahu, Dai.

She can be modelled as mostly Dai+some South Asian population such as Satnami, Tamil, Bhil or as mostly Thai+some Han Chinese or Southern Chinese indigenous groups like She, Miao, Tujia, etc. I think this suggest that Thais have South Asian and some Caucasoid admix as well.

MDLP K23b: This calc is the best proof that she is ethnic Cham from Vietnam. It models her as mostly Vietnamese_north +South Asian groups such as Vishwabrahmin, Chamar, Tamil Nadu Dalit, etc.
The closest pop to her in autosomal makeup are however Thai, Cambodian which can be explain as they also can be modelled as mostly Dai+South Asian/Indian.

What do you think of the results? I think it shows that Chams from Vietnam unlike the ethnic Kinh, do harbor South Asian and Caucasoid ancestry.
