I have seen on this forum some "exotic" atypical looking (according to some SE users) Southern Europeans, especially Sardinians and they don't look exotic to me at all. This face is very familiar to me. She could be Komi and even not atypical.

I never see a real sardinian pure here, with genealogy + dna test + gedmatch. If you want a real sardo, you have Mens-sarda.

Neither him or you live in Sardinia. So your opinion is not a credible source. Anthropologists who studied the island found a high amount of people who sometimes carry pseudo Eurasian traits.

And I have family in Sardinia: cousins. All are unlike any North African or other. I have been to Gavoi recently: all have perfectly European features, very good village. I intend to return.
They are also genetically far removed from Sicilians and other ethnicities with dubious origins.
Barbagians, the best preserved ethnicity.

That is because Sardinians almost completely lack Caucasus/West Asian admixture (CHG) so common in eastern mediterranean (connected with J2 haplogroup).
With this admixture came dinarised and armenised phenotypes with hook noses, flat back of the head etc.
Sardinians are Paleo-Meds and native southern Europeans.

That's true, Sicilians are made of more complex genetic layer than Sardinians who are purer. There are probably more Nordic Sicilians than Sardinians due to Norman influence, but also more Levantine looking types (Phoenicians...)

What darker skin? The average Sardinian has a standard white skin, not dark / olive skinned. Most people have fair skin with black/light brown hair, hazel eyes.

The problem here is, that despite "statistics", many people (as me) have been in both places, Sicily and Sardinia, and can compare.
And I would not point only physical features, but also the difference of behavour between both regions. Very different.

Like my maternal grandfather... Not even from barbagia : mountains/shepherd facial features, blues eyes and kind of brown hair. Not very different to my maternal grandmother, at the level of facial feature.
