I agree that she's atypical in Southern Europe, pass much better in Russia or North Africa than in Spain. All UP types have the similarity. She's Souther European UP surviror that is very rare in Southern Europe.

They look completely different though and I'm not even much into Anthropology. The Irishman has a much larger skull for starters, look at the differences in the forehead? The profile isn't similar at all. Looks like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. :)

The Spanish girl and Russian girl don't look alike either. Anyway I agree with Xacal that she is atlanto-alpine.

I would never claim to be an expert on Spanish phenotypes and don't understand why you made that statement. I didn't comment on whether she looked Spanish or not. I'd also be very surprised if Coon (not that I put much stock in anthropology) would connect those two plates. They are not similar at all. Anyone looking can see they have nothing in common.

I see Coon did make that statement. :) Just shows why anthropology is dismissed now and is looked on as pseudo-science. Those plates though aren't even superficially similar.

Yes I changed my comment above because I saw it was from Coon. I find it bizarre as they have nothing in common. Anyway anthropology as applied on this forum is just a fun pastime. There is no race of Atlantids for example and no genetic connection. It is mostly for amusement which I'm sure is the case for yourself as well.
