I don't see any Brünn among them though.
I'd say 1. is Subnordid, 3. is Alpine (looks like a Gaul to me) and 4. is Subadriatic / Subdinarid, a mix of Alpine and Dinarid, something that resembles the Keltic Nordid phenotype.

This seems to be a pattern in most European countries. Would it be due to breeding with similar types or inbred?

3/5 of them are ugly/deformed. Maybe the french TV deliberately wants to portray countryside people as freaks? We've had two seasons of the same show in my country and all of them were normal looking.

Very similar to Southern Germans, as usual (Didier included). The two peoples are very closely related, despite language differences... Reasonably similar to British Islanders as well.

Those are people who have difficulties to find a spouse so you could guess they're not top models to begin with. Didier is / was a 56 year old virgin.
