I'm not very good with placement in West Asia, but my opinion would be first: generally West Asia, followed by Armenia, and then Turkey after that. I may change my mind in the future but that's my opinion right now.

Bulgaria, Romania and other Balkans country I think They look more European than Caucasus and north West Asia.
My uncle and me look more Armenian, Turkey or Azerbaijan than European people. We are looking more north West Asian and old Central Asian mediterranean Oghuz Turks than South-East European :D

He looks Southeast Euro, more so than Turkish. Believe it or not.

Your uncle looks Balkan, he will pass in Moldova too, such robust dark types are not very rare in Central and Southern parts of the country.

Yes, most of Moldavians have Ukrainian vibe in their look, but such swarthy types here can be see too, they are minority but exist, especially in the Southern part of the country. In the Southern part of country lives and many Gagauz and Bulgarians who have similar look, especially Gagauz.

I've noticed that as well, round face and head with darker pigmentation as common for Romanians.

Such round and wide heads and faces are not common especially if pigmentation is dark. Common are more oval and long faces often with Dinaric nose.
Man from OP has the look that I associate with Romanians.
