View Full Version : Where can Sigourney Weaver pass in Southern Europe?

She is of English and Scottish descent. I think her look will not be atypical in the south in reality, since this forum seems to 'exotify' and 'darkify' southerners a bit too much. Do you think she can pass in Southern Europe? If so, what region/country exactly?

She could pass, but she doesn't look particularly Southern European. Pigmentation is one thing and facial features are another one. A lot of people think that a dark-haired British woman easily passes in Southern Europe and a light-haired Med woman easily passes in Northern Europe, but it's no so easy.
On the other hand, the problem with Americans is that they are a mixture of different European phenotypes and therefore they are hard to assign to a particular nation.
She passes better in France IMO.

Yeah, she can pass in France, Iberia and Italy (pass best in northern Italy). Looks Spanish.

Can fit in every Southern European peninsula but as a whole looks simply Western, so fits best in France.

Personally, I wouldn't see her 'out of place' in Milan or Venice in the north of Italy. But I don't know.
