Italy is the only one i can check regions of. maybe my lineage is too inbred xD. its also true that i score more"italian" than a lot of people so maybe its that.

mine went from 85,3 to 68,3... it was transferred into "mena" and "French and German "

problem is this is a downgrade because what gets labeled as mena (mostly composed by broadly categorizations) its just neolithic heritage common all over the med, while "french and german " its just probably a part of the heritage i get from my north italian grandma. so why dont label both into the italian anyway? i don't even get any other regions to match outside Italy. bah.

A few years ago. Campania and Veneto are the same. Calabria is a shade lighter.

23 and me lumps French and German together in the same category as if someone from Mecklenburg-Schwerin Germany (Scandinavian leaning) has indistinguishable ancestry traits as someone from Nice/Marseilles France (Mediterranean leaning). Go figure.

I don't have any Italian with 23andMe. MyHeritage gives me 14.0% Italian and 13.0% Greek and South Italian.

That's quite a discrepancy. Which one is accurate or close to it?

I don't know. I don't know of any recent Italian ancestry but MyHeritage says I have 4th cousins from Greece & Italy.

I have a paternal half uncle that gets 38% Southern Italy and 9% Cyprus and 2% Northern Italy and 1% Aegean Islands over at AncestryDNA.
