Just a little bit, my Berber isn't that fluent like that of my parents.

I have never seen an algerian or a tunisian speak berber(except on some documemtaries), but i seen some moroccans use it.

The only berbers outside Morocco who still speak the language are from the Kabyle region and some other regions in Algeria, but overall the berber language is a dying language in both Algeria and Tunis and even in some parts of Morocco. Morocco has however has the highest rate of Berber speaking people and the preservation of Berber heritage when you compare it to Algeria and Tunis. Also genetically you'll find Tunisians and Algerians more mixed than Moroccans, I've never seen a Tunisian or Algerian score 100% N. African on autosomal tests while I've seen Moroccans score 100% on autosomal tests. Also both Tunis and Algeria have always been target for foreign occupation (think about the Ottomans) and that also contributed in the genetic pool of these countries.

Yes tunisians and Algerians brag a lot about their otoman ancestry but imo they overestimate it ...

There is nothing to brag about being occupied by a foreign force imho, and yes they overestimate it just to LARP on the relatively success of the Ottoman empire. It would be the same as if I as a Moroccan start to larp as a Roman and on their success just because of the fact that N. Morocco was part of the Roman empire.

For north Africans this estimation is better than for Europeans.

Interesting, Lukaz would you have any idea how the Eastern African admixture came to Morocco? Is it recent slave trade? But then again most slaves were of West African descent as far as I know, or is it ancient DNA from neolithic era during or before the green Sahara period?

Hmm in k36 for example Berbers also have some share of NE African component. In other calcs with relevant components too I think.
It is either indirect gene flow through Nile valley to Egipt and then from it to the west. Maybe just after Muslim invasion which went through Egypt.

Or it is really reminescence of green Sahara and in this time there existed direct link from NW Africa to the east.

Or NE African component is recreated in Maghreb because if mixing with black slaves but as you noted they have different SSA regional ancestry so rather not.
