Not sure, but he could be a faelid/baltid mixture.

Do you have a source for this? Franzén sounds Swedish so I googled a little prior to making this thread but I couldn't find anything myself. It would make sense though as he's bilingual.

I have this:
Frans Michael Franzén (9 February 1772 – 14 August 1847) was a Swedish-Finnish poet and clergyman. He served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Härnösand. [1]
Regarding Franz Franzen.
Franzén was born in Oulu (Swedish: Uleĺborg), Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland
Regarding Peter Franzen:
Franzén was born in Keminmaa, North Finland. Franzén has described his childhood as difficult due to his violent and alcoholic stepfather.

Also look here:

Only 3 Franzens in Northern Ostrobothnia.
Frans Franzen is very likely a paternal ancestor or Peter Franzen. He was a Finnish-Swede.

Keltid-Nordid/Faelid. Passes better in the UK/Germany than Finland.
Faelid+Keltic Nordid.
He isn’t Baltid at all, that’s just biased classification based on his nationality.
