It won't take long until somebody comes and say that light Spaniards are on purpose cherry picked on that TV series, but from now I say that there are also several Meds in there, and there is not any cherry picking. If they expect from Spaniards to be uniformly med and olive skinned, sorry if this breaks their stereotypes.

Yeah, the majority of the actors look very typical Spaniards, no doubt.
I have seen some comments about actors from Spain (and also the elite) being lighter than the average joe there, but I don't buy it, maybe better looking, and that's all.

Spanish series and cinema are horrendous and deserve Napalm.LOL. "El Internado" is good, I also want to watch "La Chica de Ayer", but I can't find it with Eng subs.
"Rec" is also a good movie, I like Manuela Velasco, she is charismatic and her phenotype is common here, which brings some familiarity, even if she belongs to another reality from mine.
