I am not very fanatic of this comic editorial, nor do I have much knowledge about all the characters, but there are some that I like very much.
I really like batman, nightwing and green lantern comics

Like Marvel more, but I don't really care. I'm a movie fanatic, so I literally watch almost everything, atleast a movie a day.

Yes, I do, but I'm not an "expert" of this publisher. One thing I like about DC movies is the darker tone of the images compared to Marvel, which is lighter.

I did watch all Flash's serie in Netflix, and it was great, specially 1 and 2 seasons. I like the fact that DC's universe is based on fictious cities too, like Gotham, Metropolis, Central city.

When I was a kid sure, very fan.
Indeed I remember that existed cards to play with those characters. With some classmates we usually spent all the breaks playing with those cards. :P

DC has many good series, flash, Green arrow, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl,Smallville, etc.
I am currently watching this series called young justice.

I have about an equal knowledge of both, used to read X-force, X-men, Spiderman, Spider-Man is kinda annoying to me as adult, he is such a pussy as Peter Parker outside the 90's cartoon

Actually, both Marvel and DC have similar people, what changes is the context and the environment, the biggest difference between them is that Marvel's environment is brighter while that of DC is darker (for example, the Dark Knight) I also read in a report that DC has many more characters than Marvel and more stories therefore unless you spend a lot of time reading comics you won't understand them.

As I mentioned, I'm reading Batman's story to get to know it better because I like it as much as Iron Man and the X Men.

A lot of the characters were created by the same people in both companies, Jack Kirby is responsible for some of the best on both sides.

Correct Jack Kirby created the Eternals and his same version of DC called the New Gods.
Stan Lee also worked on an alternative version of the Justice League.

I read comics until around 14. I then became aware of girls, then motorbikes, cars and lastly beer. I never gave them another thought.

Yes. Criminal = death penalty.

That is not something that heroes really do, their job is to punish them and lock them up so that they don't commit more crimes, it is not their job to kill them.
The characters that do that are called anti-heroes, characters like Punisher and Deathstroke.
