Probably he is, probably not. Maybe he is half gipsy who lives with his patriotic székely family side. Probably just happened that he looks like a gipsy. We don't know him.

There are for sure swarthy looking Székelys out there, but since there is a very significant Hungarian speaking Gypsy population living in Szeklerland, some of them definitely assimilated into the Székelys during the centuries, hence individuals as the guy in OP. But generally Székelys don't look that different from other Hungarians from Transylvania and are pretty East-Central Euro looking, with higher Balkanic types than regular Hungarians.
