Basically a mix of transilvanian romanians, szekely and some saxons and gypsys who came to Moldova to Transylvania in several periods of time (since 1200). They are Roman Catholics speaks a old hungarian dialect (my mother can spoke it, but i can undestrand a little).

I saw one result on youtube of one Latvian/Russian woman, where she got 0.1% Latvian from 24genetics. Very wrong result. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlFM6s7JRj0
Her gedmatch kit number is RT8252167, and you can see there that she is almost pure Balt (Latvian/Lithuanian). 23andme also accurately assigned Latvia as her top match country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5P8NdVpy44

Think of it as such:
1) As Bakha said, only when the mother is Jewish will the children also be Jewish. You can go to any Jew with these results but as soon as you tell them that a great-great-grandfather only was Jewish, they will shoo you away.
2) I disagree that a Great-Great-Grandfather doesn't count. That's 6.25% of Ashkenazi DNA if he was 100% Ashkenazi. The chances of being 100% Ashkenazi was low, though, so your general 1.4% result makes your Jewish ancestor around 20-25% Ashkenazi. This means that in the best situation, you actually had only a G-G-G-G-Grandfather that was fully Jewish. That's around the 1700's.
This 24genetics looks trash though. It made you 10% Middle-Eastern and unless you know you had some Arab out of nowhere great-grandfather, it's wrong. Even if it came from your Jewish ancestor (they score mostly European, not MENA), refer to point 2 for possible percentages.

I saw one result on youtube of one Latvian/Russian woman
She lives in Latvia (Latgale?) but her father is ethnically Russian and her mother is at least 1/2 if not more ethnically Polish (she mentions this in other videos). 23andMe's countries are based on where your cousin matches live, not where or what ethnicity you are from. If she matches other Poles and Russians from Latvia then she scores Latvia.
Also the region in Poland she scored is Suwalki which was historically part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, just like Southern Latvia.
=====
Edit:
These are Ilona's 23&Me results from February 2018 (same time as her 24G results), no Latvia in results, because 23&Me did not distinguish countries back then:

She is ethnically Latvian/Russian with a little bit Polish.
She calls herself "Latvian/Latgalian/Polish" on various websites, but she is 50% Russian (and not Russian from Latvia, but Russian from Russia).
"I know that my father is from North-West Russia, which is Vologda, somewhere like that" she says at 11:08 of the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlFM6s7JRj0&t=11m08s
And her mother is not just a little bit Polish, but largely Polish (but probably those were ethnic Poles from what is now Southern Latvia).
=====
Edit: Okay I think I found my comment, it wasn't deleted, apologies.
=====
Edit:
She is ethnically Latvian/Russian with a little bit Polish.
Father's side is full Russian, mother's side has mostly Slavic surnames in the GEDCOM (only Bruvere sounds like Latvian surname).
Jancevski is a Polish surname and Vaivod is also Slavic (probably Belarusian, but might be Eastern Polish); not sure about Onckul:

She is clearly ashamed of her Slavic heritage because she deleted my comment under her video about her father being Russian, not Latvian.
But if you skip to 11:08 of the video, you can hear she mentions her father being born in Vologda Oblast in "North-West" (?) Russia.
why would she delete your comment if she says in video itself that she is half Russian? :icon_lol: doesn't make sense.

I don't know why - but I can't find my comment and I'm sure that it used to be there (she even replied to it).
And she is at least 25% Polish, not "a little bit". But as I said, Suwalki is a region with mostly Baltic genetics.
Check my thread "The Forgotten Minority: Latvia's Poles" (so forgotten that only DNA reveals the truth):

And video's description says:
"Je suis française et ma famille vient du sud des Pays de la Loire."
Even if it came from your Jewish ancestor (they score mostly European, not MENA)
What are you talking about? Jews are more MENA than Sicilians and Sicilians are significantly MENA (and it is not all ancient).
=====
Edit:
According to Lukas I score French regions on 23andMe because they are using Polish Diaspora in France as references for French (not sure if true but that's his claim):
https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?296436-Post-your-France-23andMe-regions
If they are really so dumb that they use French samples with Polish admixture, then they probably also use Russians/Poles in Latvia as part of their Latvian references.
Ethnic Latvians have mostly Germanic-sounding surnames because Latvian peasants got surnames from their Baltic German overlords.
This Ilona has mostly ancestors with Slavic surnames, therefore it is unlikely that her ancestors (except Bruvere) were ethnic Latvians.

You inherit 50% from each parent, so 1.4% instead of 6.25% is possible. In fact, getting 6.20-6.3% is unlikely.

What if his Jewish ancestor was fully Jewish, but not Ashkenazi?
Full Sephardic Jews on 23andMe score some Ashkenazi (about 10% I think) and the rest is MENA, Italian, Iberian.
Some examples of Sephardic 23andMe results:

Sephardic-Mizrahi Jew with 13.5% Ashkenazi:

All European Jews on 23andMe score some Ashkenazi (double digit percentages), but only Ashkenazim score 99%.

MDLP World and MDLP K16 use much fewer ancestry-informative SNPs than Eurogenes K13, and are less reliable.
23andMe has no Poland Suwalki reference. And their countries are based on cousin matches, not on genetic similarity.
They have "Eastern European" component (admixture) for all of Eastern Europe (including both Slavs and Balts) and they assign countries and regions to that based on where your matches live (like GEDmatch One-to-many). This tells you nothing about sub-ethnicity (beyond telling you that you have Eastern European genetics).
She has Slavic surnames in her Pedigree Chart and she scored Latvia on 23andMe because she has cousin matches in Latvia (local Russians and Poles).

No. You just cannot deal with the fact that she is not Polish from Latvia. Or you are trying to say that Latvians are Poles lol. I have Greek surname now, but I am not ethnic Greek.

Ok I asked her what type of raw data file did she use and she said that her 24G report was based on transfer of her 23&Me v5 raw data file.
So this is not directly comparable to her GEDmatch results from AncestryDNA raw data which has very different (and more & better) SNPs.
The kit number you posted is Ancestry (which is using OmniExpress chip, worse for health but better for ancestry) not 23&Me v5 (GSA chip).
Besides, she tested with 24G in early 2018 - at that time 23&Me did not even distinguish categories like "Polish" or "Latvian", they still reported only "East Euro".
Every test is evolving over time and she should probably get an update to her results (and transfer AncestryDNA file, which is rather better).
Edit:
These are Ilona's 23andMe results from February 2018 (she got 24G in March 2018, but posted the video about it a month later), as you can see no Latvia:

I have Greek surname now, but I am not ethnic Greek.
Ethnicity is a mainly cultural category not genetic. Ancestry is a genetic category. You have no Greek ancestry (unless you have some Greek from Ukraine).
But you are a first generation immigrant, and not raised in Greek culture - so you are not ethnic Greek for this reason.
(however, if you were adopted into Greece as a toddler and raised by a Greek family, then you would be ethnic Greek)

She is ethnically Latvian/Russian with a little bit Polish. She matches Latvians, not Poles. Look at her one-to-many matches on gedmatch and run them on calculators.
BTW she ordered LM Genetics report also in 2018. I don't remember from which company was kit (Ancestry or 23&me).
Her results shows Latvia as top single distance (at this time I didn't have Latvia divided to subregions, maybe now she will have Latvia NE).
And nMonte breakdown gives her 52% Latvia and Lithuania (maybe now she will get Latvian regions on top, Lithuania could be proxy for one of them). Rest is more than 30% Russia (mainly Smolensk and Tver), 12% Masovia and tiny percentages of Eastern Belarus and NE Ukraine. K36 nMonte didn't assign her any PL_Suwalki for some reason.
Video with oracle showed.

You did her report based on AncestryDNA raw data, not on 23andMe v5 (with this one she is closer to Western Russia, Poland and Belarus than to Latvians):
