Peaky Blinders makes me want to have a cigarette and a good Irish whiskey. Thomas Shelby is a bad influence. :)

I looove Thomas, he is sexiest fantasy character ever !!!
<3

Cillian is great. He is totally my type of man (and of tousands of other girls/women too haha).

My favorite character is Polly. :D
I also loved John. But all Shelby brothers are swesome, Finn and Arthur too. John Gypsy wife was cool too.

I don't like Michael and I was never high on Alfie or Grace either. And that rich girl May annoyed me.

Lizzie, Ada - so so

New bad guy Oswald is slimy, I already like him a lot.

Your take on fav characters ?
Did you see they were discussing Irish question too (IRA comes into play again after season 1) ? I like how show took a political twist, adds lot of depth. Interwar British politics was intersting, it was mentioned Oswald will have faschist aspirations ? Lot of people don't know faschists (as did communists) had support in pre war UK. Than the Billy Boys....

This season looks to be lot better than last imo. I didn't like the last two that much. And business expansion of Shelby Ltd to US is interesting.

Cillian Murphy has an interesting look. Do you think he could pass for Eastern European? I'll add more tomorrow as I've had a couple of whiskeys. :) Cillian is very attractive.

Btw manipulative Bible girl Arthur's wife is also excellent. She is really convincing. I first disliked her a lot, but she is actually interesting character to observe.

Yup, I think so he can pass in Baltic states imo. He has something Baltid in his phenotype :D

He is 10/10. Irish men in general are very attractive, but Cillian is off the charts! Looking for your input tomorrow :thumb001:

I like Polly and Arthur. I don't like Arthur's wife and I think Arthur is getting sick of her and ready to blow a fuse. I think Michael's new wife might be the "black cat" that Tommy is dreaming of. I don't think she is really pregnant. Tommy obviously never loved May and Grace was the love of his life.

Sad that the young boxer lad was murdered and it's interesting to see what happens with these Billy Boys.

Anyway just one of the best programs made in the last few years.

A very young Cillian with a heavy Cork accent.

Never seen the show, but the main actor was good in The Wind That Shakes The Barley

He's brilliant. Have you ever watched Broadwalk Empire? They are apparently quite similar although I've never watched Broadwalk Empire but it is on my "to watch" list.

I have watched a few season of Boardwalk Empire, it's entertaining but it's very liberal historically and the amount of sex and violence puts Sopranos to shame XD, but what can I say if it has Steve Buscemi in it, it's hard not to watch although his performance is pretty flat in the show surprisingly.

This is with Tom Hardy and Little Finger (Aiden Gillen) in this. It might give you a sense of the time period and location.

Looks really good, love Tom Hardy too, he is a great actor who always brings life to characters, even in Mad Max where he said all of 10 words XD

He's got some hilarious lines in this. "Tommy, when a pikey comes in with hair like that you gotta ask yourself 'have I made a mistake?" :rotfl:

I've never even watched this film. It's interesting that it was directed by an Englishman Ken Loach. Apparently the commercial interest in the film was much lower in the UK than other European countries. The Brits definitely have a complicated relationship with Ireland. :)

Thomas Shelby is based in Thomas Gilbert, but I believe the show only was inspired by them, the history must be totally different.
