No author has defined East Med sub-race but most people on anthropology boards use East Med for people who can pass in both Anatolia and Levant. Because of that, we cannot say East Meds are tall/short, robust/gracile and etc. People who are classified as East Med look pretty different from each other.

I use East Med for Medish types with Greek, Anatolian or Levantine vibe. But all Med types are gracile.

How do you explain these guys? All “MED” types (Atlanto-Meds) and the Georgian hulk(red shirt) I don’t know what he belongs to, all pretty damn robust. I think it’s really inaccurate using a general term such as East Med or MED in general to describe and lump a bunch of phenotypes that evolved 1000s of miles apart from each other for 1000s of years just because they both have dark hair and eyes. The variation in Med types is too high for that. And to call them all gracile is inaccurate. There are a lot of Atlanto-Meds who will dwarf that guy you posted and not just in height. Same for the Pontid looking people that I have seen in Moldova.
