Is there an explaination to why they refuse to ship kits to Serbia?

It's weird. They don't ship to Russia and Ukraine either. Here is the full list:

Somebody should tell them sanctions were lifted 19 years ago.

Interestingly they do ship to place like Belarus and Moldova, but not to Montenegro. So it's pretty random. If you are interested, I suggest you to send money to some Serb in Bosnia (Ford for example), or your relatives if you have them, and they can send you the kit when it arrives to them. It takes longer but it's doable if you are really interested.

You get much more German than me. Are you sure this are your updated results ? You should get some trace results I think.

i think there is some pattern... Split-Dalmatia, Masovian Voivodeship, Peloponnese..
most of the results i've seen so far get these same regions

I contacted them and got this (I asked why they don't ship to Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo):

We are able to offer our service in countries where we understand the unique regulatory environments and market dynamics to ensure we are complying with applicable laws. The company is currently in the process of exploring opportunities in other markets internationally, but I don't know if/when we will be able to offer our service in those specific countries.

How long did it take for you to receive results ? Stears mailed his sample in Saturday, kit isn't received in the lab yet. I am curious when can he expect his results.

The shipping takes the longest time, after the kit was in the lab my results were ready in a week or so

Took me about a month for the lab to receive sample, then maybe 3 weeks for final results.

I was confused first, tried to contact fedex, but then just took it to the local post, and sent via mail back to the address which is on the box.

I really doubt the issues are related to legislation and economy since MyHeritage and FTDNA can ship the kits freely. This vague reply just makes it clearer that the core problem is political in nature. Honestly, unless some major govermental changes occur in Serbia or a managment shift at 23andMe iteslf, I won't ever be able to order a kit as long as I live in this country.
