the writings on the wall are written in italian language, so it is an italian classroom, but probably the first girl on the left is an immigrant from some middle eastern country, the rest italians (from Sicily?)

:lol: You are right! Anyone who guessed Italians/or Sicilians is correct. They are all Sicilians from the small town of Alcara Li Fusi in the Nebrodi Mountains (including the girl in the front left).

I've noticed a trend that Sicilian girls like to play "Arab" or "Muslim" for fun.. :lol:

The main purpose of this thread was for me to see how much the makeshift "headscarves" would gear people's views of their phenotypes. It seems to have influenced some people to guess in the Levantine/Turkish/Bosnian directions but others recognized the ploy :lol:.

I know a lot about Muslim culture and practice, and these "headscarves" are not tied properly at all, so if someone else realized this on this thread, it might also influence their guessing in the European direction.
