A politician that have been suspected to have diverted public money in 2015. He is of algerian descent.

He is quite fair and hasn't the "typical" berber face (but still look berber).

I disagree he has a typical coastal north african phenotype (only the maghreb in this case)

Interesting classification. It's true that he don't look like a pure berber. He has some kind of features that you can find also in other euro meds countries.

eurafricanid is a local phenotype it doesn't necessarily means he has a lot of euro ancestry. As for his features he just have a mediterranean look which is totally normal because he's from the coastal area of algeria (and probably the majority of his ancestors too). What's weird about his look is his typical berber eyes who can make him passing in countries like turkmenistan ( it's an afghani friend who said it).

Yeah initially I wanted to say that he could pass easily in Turkey but I don't said that because I wasn't too sure. I don't say that he has euro ancestry just that he has a very med look, without a very predominant berber/SSA influence.

For the typical berber face, It's strange because I never seen this kind of face even if I met and have seen a lot of NA people. I don't know maybe I didn't notice some features that he has amongst other NAs. Or maybe it's his eyes that give him a central asian vibe...

that doesn't make sense coastal berbers are essentially mediterraneans. People from his area look no different from him and they are all berbers :

But I agree about his ssa he probably hasn't a lot of it.I think I have some kind of misrepresentation of the average berber (I know that there are very light and med features berbers) coastal look, I think I've seen mostly the darkest and more SSA admixed one in my life so...

No problem people have a lot of misconceptions about berbers and north africa in general but berbers are diverse there isn't one berber phenotype.
