How typical is he amongst Russians? From my witnessing of tourists, I wouldn't say he's uncommon.

Edit: was. Ofc, he died (along with 27 million during WWII, probably the best stock of Russians).

Not so common among everyday crowds, but one of native Russian types.

Very long face for a Russian.

Would you say it's very common?

Very long face for a Russian.

Yes, but the overall phenotype is East Nordid.

Mostly Russians are slightly wider and darker. Middle Russian meso-brachycephalus, with a medium-high face, light-mixed eyes and brown hair. Although such types are also found.

Tronder.

Tronder.

Exactly. This guy looks Germanic version of Aryan ("Indo-European"): definitely more common in Norway than in Russia. So I would say he's definitely atypical for a Russian, but he passes...

Looks like me, I've never visited Russia so would be interesting to know if he stands out amongst today's folk

What Germanic Countries are his best fit? Sweden and Norway over Netherlands and Germany?

I'd say Norway > Sweden > Germany > Netherlands.

I will say that he doesn't look Eastern Nordid at all so therefore a Germanic type, in my view he is Tronder

Obviously pred. Nordid, but even considering the angle and and haircut the skull appears to be quite wide

judged by only one pic - Either Corded or Troender, i think he might be one of those in-between types with slightly higher forehead and shorter midface who are described as "Battle-Axe" variant of Corded. Imo passes everywhere in Nordic zone including NW Russia, he does not look exclusively Germanic to me.

I'd say it's freakishly long, seeing the length of his face.

Many Russians can have similar looks like him.

It can be both, long and wide, such is the case for me personally as well

He is just Corded/ Nordid. There is no perfect system, sometimes its overthinking stuff.

Nordic with Corded tendencies. This type was typical among Early Slavs so there is no need to evoke Germanic influence to explain it.
