Levatines are mostly darker than Iranian Azeris, who are more than 20% of Iranian population. Iranians Kurds are also mostly darker than Levantines. I should have written “Persians are darker than Levatines on average”.

Maybe Persians are. Then again, that still sounds unbelievable to me. When you talk about Levantines, you have to include Palestinians, Jordanians, Samaritans, Jews(non Ashkis) too. As a whole, are Persians really darker? I have a hard time believing that. I think Persians are roughly similar to Levantines as a whole in terms of pigmentation. I think Azeris and Kurds are lighter than them though.

Gilan (caspian region) is also lighter on average. Same goes I think for Lurs. Levantines can be very light skinned but also very SSA looking (especially Palis) so i'm not sure about their averages.

They score anywhere from 45-55% East Med and 15-20% Red Sea on average(depending on the Levantine group in question). Their West Asian/CHG scores are less than 20% usually and score less than 10% steppe, often times less than 5%. you do the math.

We are genetically natives, just not pure like the Christians, Druze, Syrian and Iraqi Jews. Here'e the G25 genetic results between Egyptian and Palestinian Muslims by Aren:

Egyptians are quite close to Levantines. Using Berbers, the Canaanite samples, Armenia_EBA, Arabs, Steppe and extra African I get:

Those pure Africans among Palestinians is as rare as Palestinians of Bosniak descent(Bushnaks), and the SSA admixture among Palestinians is around 8% which is of east-African in origins which is not purely SSA ancestry which is why the pure east SSA ancestry among Pali Muslims is around 4%.

Iranians are darker than Levantines

from my experience with both groups in Europe Iranians are way more diverse than Levantines , all the levantines I have seen have a similar type of look , iranians might have more extrmes but overall they are on par with each other with typical Northern West Asian pigmentation.

Iranians have many Armenoids in the North. They might be usually lighter than average Levantine.
