Lesbians raped as 'cure' - study

SOUTH African lesbians are suffering rapes by men trying to "cure" their homosexuality, in what is becoming one of the most common hate crimes against gay women in the country, according to a new study.
The study by the anti-poverty group ActionAid said that women living in townships in Johannesburg and Cape Town were reporting increasing attacks and murders by men committing so-called "corrective" rape.

South African women generally face a staggering risk of rape in a country with one of the highest crime rates in the world.

Almost half of South African women will be raped in their lifetime, according to the report.

It said 500,000 rapes were committed each year.

Of every 25 men brought to trial for rape, only one is convicted.

But lesbians are being singled out by men who think that the rape will change their sexual orientation, said the head of ActionAid South Africam, Zanele Twala.

"So-called 'corrective' rape is yet another grotesque manifestation of violence against women, the most widespread human rights violation in the world today," she said.
Related Coverage

One support group in Cape Town said it is responding to 10 new cases of "corrective" rape every week, in that city alone, the report said.

South Africa's constitution enshrines equal rights for gay people, but hate crimes based on sexual orientation are not recognised by law or in courts, the study said.

At least 31 lesbians have been killed in homophobic attacks over the last decade, but only one case has led to a conviction, it said, warning the real number of killings is likely much higher in a country where 50 people meet a violent death every day.

The head of the South African Human Rights Commission, Jody Kollapen, said in a foreward to the study that the findings should push the criminal justice system to recognise hate crimes.

"Hate crimes of this nature require decisive action and those responsible must be held to account," he said.

That would reinforce in every lesbian woman the reason why they prefer being lesbians!

Not a day seems to go by that I don't hear of something new that makes me want to sign up for a species-reassignment operation. That's how proud I am of the human race. As in not.

First it was the White Baby rape cult to rid oneself from Aids, now the Lesbian rape cult.
The Lesbians who do get raped are mainly the fashion lesbian.
The non fashion lesbian stay at home after hours or if they go out they do not behave so stupidly in public,like--holding hands-kissing-smooching etc--besides some of these non-fashion lesbians are truly beautiful and have class.

I wonder what is the % of white lesbians, compared to native ones? Because homosexualism is more like a trend now and appears more in developed societies. I don't know how black women from Africa see the idea of being lesbians, since most of them still live in society with different moral and structure.

How ridiculous. And, like you said Brynhild, it would turn any lesbian even more against men. Forcing sex on someone isn't going to change their preferred gender. And, there are plenty of black American women who are lesbian. :wink

In another forum I took issue with the idea that there is homosexuality(in the human sense) in Nature.
This issue is near to my heart,as it does not exist in nature.
Those who promote this fallacy,do it to proof that homosexuality is a natural phenomenon
All my life have been at the forefront of animal behavior--Lions-cheetahs-bears-porcupine(lol)-ducks(excluding the rub-a-duck)-geese-dogs-Africans-Dutch(hehehehe)-bucks-antelopes- chimpanzee-gorilla-bonobos- etc etc and not ones have I seen homosexuality.
I have seen a bear licking his stiffy,I have seen dogs rubbing against a human leg, I have seen male lions(the young ones, not belonging to a group) rubbing each other, but never ever seen any homosexual acts the way humans are doing, especially the male species.
The so called acts by animals are of a total different nature.
For me to go into this subject again is to much of an effort, and I understand that not many will agree with me.
An animal is to much of a gentleman or gentle woman to lower themselves to this freaky(not all) human behavior
I have two lady friends(lesbian) for which I have the highest regard and for one simple reason, they do not damage and defile their bodies.I know them intimately.
Homosexuality is exclusively HUMAN
Yes in some African communities the young ones do tend to have homosexual relationships especially in rural areas, where they are also subjected to tribal elders etc.

Do not be offended,I am not attacking you,I am defending the animals

Is this some sort of messed up reasoning like how you make kids eat their veges so they may grow to like them? Obviously the psychological scarring caused by the rape is going to have the reverse effect. Really it sounds like a poor excuse to have their way with women. You always want what you can't have...

On an aside, obviously being a lesbian isn't as 'hot' in South Africa as it is seen to be in other parts of the world. Most guys I know would rather watch lesbians than rape them :p

Yes that is right, but it is not homosexual behavior,it is for friendship, bonding, preference in group status, stealing etc
Heck the Bonobos do have sex with every Tom,Dick and Harry and Sheila and Mary.In the end it is back to proper copulation to further their existence.
The Gay community go hell for leather on the Bonobos to proof a point where there is none.
There are to many ladies in this forum and thus it restricts me to become graphic.
I had a Baboon,Georgie who clutched on me every which way,he even saved my life ones from being torn to shreds by his group. He, later on, attached himself to another Baboon-Mary- who became as affectionate.
Our trio were a bit of oddballs.
I had gone ape.:D

Don't be surprised, here are plenty white lesbians and the main reason is the behavior of a number of SA men,who behave like white kaffirs.
With regard to the black men, they are even worse filth.

But isn't this true of heterosexual sex among humans as well? Some is for bonding and friendship, some is for group standing, some is for play, some is for revenge, some is for generosity, some is a strategic ploy, some is impulsive recklessness, some is for meditation, some is just routine, some is work, and some -- a very small percentage -- is for procreation.

You are spot on,but the homosexual sees it as an excuse to be homosexual and refer to the Bonobos and other animals as an example.(Liberal crap)
Friendship in the human community can be very intense.
The word love is 60 percent friendship,10 percent sex,30 percent food on the table.

The Bonobo is the nearest to Homo Sapiens Sapiens,It does even frontal copulation

The problem with that "lesbian" porn aimed at straight guys is that it produces totally ridiculous and unrealistic misconceptions. I guess the attraction lies in the fantasy that they'll get to step in and complete the assemblage. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, as long as people do not confuse fact and fiction.

Yesterday morning on the commuter train there was a couple of authentic carpet-munchers sitting across from me, and the sight of them making out seriously made my testicles retract.

Human sexuality is much more varied than most people realise. It is impossible to know just how many people get their jollies from "non-normative" behaviour because they're not supposed to talk about it.

Nobody commits acts of violence against people with foot or @$$ fetishes, but this is indeed non-genital and supposedly "non-normative" sexuality.

The ancient world and other cultures are rife with examples of different sexuality. The ancient Greeks spoke of love between men, and indeed male beauty was seen as the ideal before the ascent of the female form as ideal.

I have two hands, let me allow to conjecture that of approx. 4 million Whites in South Africa, I can count the White men who participate in these "therapeutical rapes" on one hand. Not trying to be polemic here, but trying to be realistic. :wink

Or did I just state the dead obvious which remained unspoken *because* it is so dead obvious? :tongue

Let me translate more or less The order of the Rosicrucian(Rose) and stationary or static or balance.

What do they play??

Yes you are correct and homosexuality in any which way has been since we started to imagine things with our larger brain capacity. If we are a mutation of the original stock, possibly Erectus, then somehow we may have lost it.
Contrary to animals our instinct is not dependent on the natural law,but on our reasoned action.
If our reasoning takes the path of degradation-defiling and damaging once body(both parties),then I have a problem(personally).
I have very few inhibitions, but desecrating a body or mind is not one of them.
In Yemen many elder do have a snot nosed little boy on the side line.
The Zulu is an anal lover, boys or girls.
The Xhosa prefer a goat,if short of a female.
Plenty of Iranian soldiers miles away from civilization practice "DIY" on chicken.

A sexual urge is easy to satisfy any which way you want it.
To me it is a question of upliftment the decent way or going down the tube.

You are right.
Often it is the mentally challenged white person.
I have not come across an Austrian 65 year old behaving white

Speaking of rape and other crimes, Jones, rather absurdly, describes it as "in some ways laudable" that official police report forms no longer detail the race of criminals and their victims, as they used to under apartheid, "given that reconciliation is the name of the game in modern South Africa." Apart from the fact that, in elementary common sense, there is, and can be, no 'reconciliation' as most people would understand it, where members of one group are deliberately committing violent crimes against members of another on an escalating scale, how can any such outbreak even be understood, let alone controlled, without an accurate 'epidemiology' of such crime? In the circumstances of South Africa, how can there be such a scientific criminology without accurate recording and analysis of the race factor? http://www.spearhead.com/0002-jm.html

-I've never heard of a white homosexual promoting white procreation, arrest them!

Haha joking! that would be an ignorant thing to type meaningfully.

I believe that Boerseun is right when he says that Human homosexuality is seemingly different to a primal animal example of homosexuality.

Homosexuality can become more prominent this way through it developing as a kind of culture, not to say that it isn't wired for some people to like the same sex, because that can and does happen. Also, human homosexuality may really only differ because it is the only case of intelligent thought with homosexual 'wiring'.

I don't find watching lesbians more enjoyable. The female and nakedness will definitely still work though.

Haha I was wondering the same thing Queen Fox...

1. What is the name of that man in Austria that was convicted recently for having his children in the basement by one of his daughters.
2.'Mentally challenged' are people who through inbreeding have a bit of a mental problem. In America I would refer to the type you see in the film "Deliverance".
I help out at a school for the mentally disabled--Down syndrome boys and girls--
Only once a week and that is more than enough for me. They seem to have constantly sex on their mind.

I do personally wonder though --- is it perhaps a coincidence that you mentioned Austria, knowing that this is where I hail from, in your stride to defend your Black countrymen despite the undeniable truth that ever since Apartheid was abandoned in favour of Black-rule, crime in general and rape and theft in particular have been running rampant? :rolleyes2:

First of all, should people need to constantly be reminded of what threads are about, before going off-topic?

Second of all, rape is the equivalent of murder in my eyes. No, worse. At least the person murdered is dead while the person raped suffers from long term trauma, both physically and mentally.

I don't give a rat's arse what race or sexual persuasion we're talking about here, and I'm more than a little disgusted in the way some members are making comparisons because of it!

Rape is rape. It is wrong, and the perps (I will refer to men in this instance) should be strung up by their balls and lynched!
