Death toll: 3,798 farmers, smallholders, rural dwellers, murdered up to April 1 2011:
This list is invariably incomplete and does not include all the names of all the murdered people in rural areas because many victims remain ‘unknown’ (we have listed these under ‘Unknown’) - moreover, the list is constantly updated with new information because these attacks occur every day.
