Before my dad died and struggled with cancer. I looked him into the eyes (he had dark brown eyes) and he looked like a reindeer to me, and I loved his eyes and he looked so innocent.

Most people will say Blue is the most beautiful, but what about eye shape, and what about the shade of blue? Brown can be very mysterious . Women with dark eyes are sexy and mysterious looking. Brown has different shades which can range from an Amber hue to a dark chocolate color and then to something in between. Blue eyes are very COMMON in Europe, so much so that brown/hazel stands out in some countries.

I disagree and I don't think that's fair because people can't help what they feel attracted to - whether it's light eyes, blonds or brunets or redheads, curvy or petite figures, or certain heights. Everyone is free to feel attracted to whatever aesthetic appeals to them.

Personally I have no preference when it comes to eye colours, and I like the eye shape more than the colour. My English boyfriend had blue eyes like myself, my French ex had green eyes, and my Saint Lucian ex had brown eyes.

I've always had an absolute weakness for loving dark hair on men.... (that doesn't make me as 'racist' or 'prejudiced' towards handsome blond men, but I can't help what I feel attracted to.) I'm not particularly fussed over skintone and eye colour as I've seen attractive men who are pale as well as attractive men who are darker skinned.

Culturally though I've learned from experience that I relate better in relationships to people from my own western culture.

I have blue or blue-green eyes myself and I honestly wonder this myself as well, I think blue eyes are overrated personally and I'm tired of the fetishization surrounding them because I think brown eyes are more attractive and one of the most overused compliments I get is "you have beautiful eyes" which is nice but.....it seems like some people might say this because they can't find anything else to compliment me for and I've heard it so many times. I also really don't like that fact that people assume I must be of purely Northern European descent because I have them (reverse BS assumptions for brown eyes....), which is BS ignorance and stupidity on their part. I would do anything to have brown eyes instead. The bias towards blue eyes is very strong although personally I don't think eye color contributes to attractiveness as much as people think it does, if at all.
