I normally have fixed gifts that I purchase in large quantities during sales. and for the young people who don't work (yet) I give cash. but recently I got an expensive watch from someone I only know for two weeks. with guarantee/receipt. f.e. the perfumes that I have bought for € 25 (normal value are two sometimes three times more) will not be a good gift. on the other hand, I also do not want to give an overly expensive gift because there is a chance that I will no longer see her or even don't want to see that person. this giving and taking gift thing was fun but now I have to figure something out.
