Yes, I'd say medium brown.

Probably slightly darker than mine, if we compared them under excellent light conditions and with superior photography, as you have done here.

I have the same stripes. You seem to have brown central heterochromia but apparently that heterochromia is not really the color of the eye that is from the heterochromia.

This is my eye and I also have brown central heterochromia. Depending on the light it looks orange and they look greener with less light they may look brown at all.

Heterochromia is usually dominant. My father and my brothers all have it too.

My result in Gedmatch was blue.

Here we see another example of central heterochromia. (There was no better picture)

Central Heterochromia
Central heterochromia appears when the central part of the pupil of the iris is of a different color than the middle-peripheral or ciliary part, forming a central ring around the pupil of the eye. This type is more common in diaphragms that contain low levels of melanin. The true color is actually the outer ring, while the central ring shows the color affected by the heterochromia

I have heterochromia (light hazel eyes) but my two parents are brown-skinned. However in the two families there are light eyes/hazel eyes individuals.

Light/hazel eyes come from both of my maternal grandparents: my maternal sardo grandfather had blues eyes and his wife, mixed greenish hazel eyes.

Ok interesting ! On my french side I have two cousins that have blue eyes, my aunt also. In my italian side I have a great-aunt that she's blue-eyed, cousins also with light eyes, and various other people (I won't describe all the ligh-eyed/hazel-eyed individuals).

Interesting that your sardo grandfather had blue eyes, it's very rare amongst Sards.

Hazel eyes is more common among native sardinians (you can find many town with many hazel eyes or very light brown/auburn brown, like in Desulo or Gavoi). He could be have more ancestors with hazel light eyes and have inherited more light eyes (blues, in this case). Like i have inherited my brown eyes from my father (but not the same nuance) A;A.
