Red hair recessive gene

My hair is light brown since my 2 year, but have I red hair recessive gene if I had red hair at birth and few months after?

I was a kinda red red haired when I was a kid...and turned into dirty blonde. :D I wonder what about my recessive gene? Haha ^^

Best way to tell is if there are red heads in your family line. You're probably heterozygous like most people are.

No one in my family is red head. They are all was golden blonde 'till 7-8 years and then turned into light brown or dark brown hair colour.
