Lebanon is a small country, you can't expect them to welcome all the refugees from Syria, also Lebanon did not cause the Syrian refugee crisis, it's not their problem.

Since 2011, Lebanon has taken in 1.5 million Syrian refugees. Officially, the country’s policy has been to host them until the war in the neighboring country has ended.
The country has hosted the most refugees per capita in the world—and it’s now out of patience.

It better be. It's the most urban MENA country (if we ignore bullshit countries made by the West like Bahrain or Kuwait) - 88% urban.

There is no state nation there. It is not a country in a normal sense. There is communitarianism based on sectarian affiliation and every single group refers to a certain external power to identify itself and to seek for protection. The political system is also based on that sectarianism and that is how the fragile status quo is maintained.

Christian Maronites have presidential seat reserved for themselves. Since they recognize Vatican authority, France is their historical ally and protector.
The Shiites have head of parliament seat reserved for themselves and are under Iranian sponsor.
The Sunnis have Prime Ministry and are backed by Saudi Arabia.
Greek Orthodoxes, Nusayris, Druzes, Armenian WWI immigrants just add to the mix.

Even foreign languages spoken are different. The Muslims speak English, Christians speak French there.

As for recent riots, on social medias it is said to be backed Saudi Arabia and its ally Israel in an effort to destabilize Shiite Hezbollah. But must see.
