View Full Version : Face surgery?

michelbel

Have you ever consider face surgery, that might influence the way you look, e.g. having your lips thinned if they are too full? Is it possible to be considered a different type after nose and lips surgery?

The reason I am asking is because I had a nose job a while ago and my nose now is smaller than before and it used to have a bump that was removed. I am now considering having my lower lip thinned, because it is too full for my taste. I want to look more Nordic-like. I even got my hair dyed blonde.

P.S. A note to moderators: If this sub forum is not the most suitable one for the topic, please move it to where appropriate.

Talking about being feminine, you want to have a facial plastic surgery done on yourself, that sure is very manly.

Full lips are a feminine and a negroid trait. That's why they don't look good on white guys. They make them look too feminine: Fish lips (http://forum.hyeclub.com/showthread.php/3370-For-the-Ladies-An-exercise-of-Taste)

If you work on being happy with yourself the way you are then you won't need to waste all that money! No amount of surgery will make you Nordic, you'll just start to look like you've had work done, which isn't good. Lips are especially iffy, they can easily look weird. I say leave them the way they are. Full lips are nice!

Why do you want to be Nordic-looking anyway?

I dont want to be mean, but, that wont make you look Nordic, but a wannabe Nordic. :) In your case. There are girls/guys who dye their hair because they like it like so...but you said you ''want to look''...

You should be, firstly, happy about what you really are and proud of your origin as an European. Second, accept the fact nothing is gonna make you something you are not. Third, respect yourself a little bit more.

But what if your upper lip is very thin and the lower one is too full as much as they look weird?
What if your upper lip is pointed down on the sides in such a way that makes you look like you're always unhappy?

My lips were like these and women thought I was gay and too effeminate-looking:

^and my upper lip used to look like his... only thinner... people thought that i was always sad/angry.
Either they ARE effeminate or Bulgarian girls are superficial w**res. Or both.

I find facial surgery annoying in the sense that it conceals ethnically relevant traits. One can see through it oftentimes and more or less understand what the original features were like, but sometimes they create a false impression - e.g., facelifting makes one look somewhat Lappoid. Here (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?p=444329#post444329) it was actually curious to see what remained of the original type.

If that's the way a person's lips naturally are, then it probably looks alright. As for full lips on men in general, it looks good (within reason) - a lot of male models have full lips and this is no coincidence. I think that guy's lips look good, and to be honest not feminine at all. Also, how can you tell if someone is gay just by them having big lips?!

You can't try to change the reason for your surgery now to "they make me look sad" or whatever after you already put the thoughts "my lips are too full for my taste" and "I want to be Nordic looking" together in your first post. :D

I dont see what is wrong with having full lip. Actually, not very full lip like negroes, but normal full lip is an attractive trait. If your lips were like those one, then it'd look make you look more attractive. I have to say that I am really sorry for you because you just a made bad choice.

Nature does a lot of mistakes... there are almost none naturally beautiful people, especially women. Women rely heavily on make up in order to look good. Males rely heavily on their bodies, so weight-lifting is very important over here. I mean most often than not females will go with the good-body-ugly-face type of guy instead of the handsome-face-so-so-body. At least here in Bulgaria, so body shape is important.

Insecure women rely heavily on makeup. I disagree, I think there are a lot naturally beautiful people. Plus if someone is confident, they can make themselves attractive to anyone (or at least have a good shot at it).

I would rather have a nice face over a nice body. Anyone can work out, but if someone is ugly then they'll always be ugly! Sounds as if you associate with a lot of superficial people.

There are many naturally beautiful people... but if you are not one of them, a little bit of make-up can solve all problems :tongue
As for surgery... I would only allow it when a person's face is damaged due to an accident (like fire injuries, burns) or being previously beaten up.

Normal people can't do much as far as makeup goes. Professionals can, maybe with a little bit of airbrushing too. But in real life you can always tell an unattractive person, even if they're wearing makeup.

I too only really approve of surgery if it's to fix some sort of defect or something that really gets the person down. Other than that, I don't like it so much, but people may do as they wish! If it makes them happy and they have the money then I won't argue - It might be more beneficial to work on their self-esteem first, though.

If I had surgery I wouldn't look like me and that's the main point, it wouldn't be my nose or my lips etc. That would make me sad.

So then most Bulgarian women are insecure... because it is a well-known fact that most Bulgarian women wear tons of make up while Western/Northern European women wear a lot less.
I'm fed up with local females looking like porn stars:

I've noticed that about Bulgarian women too, actually. Well at least in Bulgarian music videos all of the women look exactly the same and are caked in makeup. That obviously isn't representative of all Bulgarian girls lol but yeah I agree that it isn't attractive.

I had my wonky nose straightened as well as it could be by a very good surgeon in 2003.

It's not much different from how it would be if it had not been damaged in the first place.

If I'm honest, although it was a huge improvement, it does look as though I have had a little work done sometimes, but it suits me because it was more or less what my natural nose should have looked like.

This thread is weird and as far as I am aware, it didn't change my DNA. :tongue

Well, my nose also was damaged, I fell down and broke it once as a teen. So that's why I underwent surgery. What I meant with the topic is that plastic surgery can make you look like a different type of person if overused. The way my 'new nose looks is way different from the way it looked before. It's like I'm a whole new person.
