So you like a big lion roaring at you before you watch a film or TV programme then?:D

I like all sorts of cats (domestic and wild).

I like the MGM theme before Tom and Jerry best:

lot of these were started by Hungarian Jews

There was a time in the 1930s and 1940s, the story goes, that a billboard was posted at the border of Hollywood: “It's not enough to be Hungarian, you also have to have talent.”

You’re missing one of the greats, Warner Bros. They have the most historic, iconic lot in SoCal. Warner Bros is 100x more iconic than Touchstone

The OP title didn't give me enough room.:(

The loud roaring lion makes me jump and feel on-edge, so I'm not keen on that intro theme.

Touchstone is dull and not a good start to a film... makes me feel sleepy.

The fanfare on 20th Century Fox is a little bit loud.

I like the Universal intro theme the best out of the choices;- it's neither boring nor loud and OTT... just nice and relaxing whilst keeping me alert. I guess 20th Century Fox would be my second choice.

Touchstone, in my opinion, the only one I was not remembering.
There is something very relaxing and nostalgic about it.

Warner Bros is the best one to visit. They still use sound stages from the 1920s and it’s not as much of tourist trap as Universal Studios. Great history of movie too.

Well I like it insofar as it is the introductory theme tune to the Sister Act films.:)

MGM, it's so iconic, it always pumped me up for adventure when I was little.

Another similar thread, albeit there isn't yet a poll, because my computer froze as I was trying to create one: https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?306697-Which-Hollywood-film-company-theme-was-better-Warner-Bros-United-Artists-Tristar-or-Columbia
