I can in fact see him fit as Bulgarian. I have posted some Bulgarians I see as Iranid admixed like Kuzman Iliev and Lyubomir Minchev and Iranian members said they are passable in Iran. Ancient Bulgars were mainly East Mediterranean and Iranic according to most authors (I support this opinion, too), after all.

Yes, Hamidan is Iranian and Babak as his first name then he is definitely Iran. Some Armenian Surnames that are Arabic. Names like Najarian, Bagherian, etc.
