Former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic has managed to pick a fight with almost all defendants at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
"He is overly pushy when communicating, embarks on monologues which literally last for hours, causing the majority of the prisoners to start avoiding him, be they of Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian nationality", Mladic's lawyer told Serbian journalists, as cited by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA).
According to him, the only one who still keeps in touch with Mladic is Dragoljub Ojdanić, former chief of the general staff of the Yugoslav army, who helps him to get dressed, to do the ironing, to cook a meal. etc.
Ever since Mladic was extradited to the Scheveningen detention center in the Hague, he has managed to get into an argument with three Croatian defendants, who remain anonymous.
The clash is believed to have been on grounds of nationality.
