Splendid tenor, especially in the French repertoire (Gounod, Massenet, Berlioz...). He is born in France from sicilian parents.

He was a nice Lyric Tenor in his prime. But like so many others he pushed the voice into spinto repertoire, and he lost the beautiful tone.

Yes it's a shame but he has recovered from these things, and I think from I've seen he doesn't play Radames 6 times a year anymore.
