It's basically like how mine is, off black. Which yes is the darkest form of BROWN.

With significant sun exposure mine goes from off black to Chesnut (which is also dark brown but a bit lighter).

I think you have the type of darkest brown that most people would just describe as black, and can often look black depending on the lighting. I call it brown-black or near black.
