What would you say is a significant overlap of cm's on gedmatch for example? At what point you can talk about a recent relation and so on?
And what is more important: total cm's shared or the largests segment?
Thank you in advance

I'd say the largest segments are most important, where around 15cM is generally the cutoff to consider an actual relation. Total shared segments can be very irrelevant and misleading. FTDNA does this mistake where it includes all minor shared segments to inflate the actual relation.

However, smaller segments can be just as important, but the chances of it being identical by descent lowers drastically.
