No, it's not the same thing. Neo-Danubian is around 50% East Nordid, 50% Ladogan and thus has Mongoloid admixture, Baltid is an eastern CM type with no Mongoloid admixture. They look similar, especially given their shared geographical distribution, but aren't the same thing.
