Great. How much did you pay for it? And do you think they’ll give you information that you don’t have yet? I see both Y and mt DNA in your profile :)

I think it will give me more details then what I have now though.

You may indeed get Y-STR matching with certain people. You may also upgrade to full sequencing and send the data to YFull.com for example. There are many opportunities that arise from testing at FTDNA, though it's definitely not the cheapest method.

My mtdna results are available. For ancestral origins it says "Germany and Scotland". For matches it matches me with some anglo or germanic sounding names. That is weird as fuck.

Is any of the name jewish? I did it mostly to find out if my mtdna is jewish

These names don't sound Jewish to me, but I am no expert.
How long did you wait for mtdna results?

The people on the pictures are white. That is really weird. I dont have a english german or scottish grandmother or great grandmother. But it is interesting. I waited 3-4 weeks. My ydna results are still wait.

Well that doesn't suprise, these surnames sound native NW European. Is your maternal line Gypsy?

Yes my maternal line is gypsy.

That must be huge suprise to you, as it seems your line is white European. T2b itself is very common Balkan lineage.
There might be possibility your maternal line is Balkan admixture in Gypsies, which has distant Celtic/Germanic origin or something like that.

Ask your matches lol. I have one American match whose maternal ancestor came from Bavaria which was a surprise because she wasn't Slavic but then she told me they were closet Frankists so maybe mine is Ashkenazi? lol whatever if true anyway. I'm cool with it.

I realised Campbell is a Scottish Romanichal surname. Hence Scottland. The other two are of "german" origins.

Dick

Yeah, no.

Campbell is a Scottish surname—derived from the Scottish Gaelic roots cam ("crooked") and beul ("mouth")—that originated as a nickname meaning "crooked mouth" or "wry mouthed."

Ashkenazi/European T2b and T2a1b forming a very small minority of North Caucasus T2 lineages

Ashkenazi haplogroups T2b -1sample -0.6%
T2g Iran,T2c Iran and Iraq,T2i Bulgaria

Sephardic T2e5

The geographic distribution within subclade T2 varies greatly with the ratio of subhaplogroup T2e to T2b reported to vary 40-fold across examined populations from a low in Britain and Ireland, to a high in Saudi Arabia (Bedford 2012). Within subhaplogroup T2e, a very rare motif is identified among Sephardic Jews of Turkey and Bulgaria and suspected conversos from the New World

I know you said a little about the Ydna result, that it appears native south Slav. Did you find anything more about that since doing the deep clade test? You are ethnic Serb on the deep paternal side, yeah?
