Tho its rather refers to a component, instead of real recent Italian ancestry.
Very large German input and that's expected for Transdanubian. Italian is a lot too, something Hungarians seem to have in decent amounts.

No recent german surnames in my family. I heard stories ,its not uncommon for western hungarians to have some german ancestry, but Its pretty significant.

I have cousins on 23andme but I also have from america, completely anglo sounding names, none of them are close relative. I will look it up tho. Most family names were hungarianized, I have older relative named grmanitz, which is slavized form of "german" for example. (one grandmas side came from silezia-morava)

Interesting. They can't seem to identify where my East Euro is from. They must not have references from Vologda.

Is it older admixture? I've seen 2% ancestry with added regions, and 20% with no region, it's weird but some genetics look like covers a wider spectrum.

Reasonable result, of course we can't take it too literally but I think the gist of it is consistant with your 23andMe.
I tried to upload a couple of weeks ago, and all that happened was a little circle thing kept spinning and spinning haha. Maybe I'll try again.

I know my maternal side pretty well from approx the 1700. My dads side is just stories mostly. I believe its rather and ambivalent admix and not only came from one side, since they would probably mentioned if a branch of my family was full danube scwabian. But I really dont know anymore, it could've happened that it comes from my dads and they just didn't find it so important to keep this heritage.

Yes. lol Ive read that was the case with some members. They give you 3 region with the free tho. I was excited to see it compared to the 23andme. I think while that is obviously better, this one makes sense aswell. Its not bad overall. I think there is a package for a higher price when it provides somewhat more detailed info. Regions etc, especially those with UK ancestry.
