Thick unibrows and mustaches will be mandatory when Turks rule the world

Define "developing"?

Any idiot can color a map, not that I'm complaining, my place is doing good.

Source?

I think "developed" just means that buildings look newer, with more contemporary synthetic paneling.

If Chiang Kai-Shek would have defeated Mao, China would be the greatest world power right now. It is probably good for the West that they didn't, though I think it is just a matter of time with the demographic decline we are having.

Japan and South Korea saved themselves from communism, but most nations in Asia are too stupid.

Sadly to say this but Venezuela should be in red.

The map is not 100% accurate, Argentina is more developed than Russia.

Their IDH is still above 0.700 which is considered medium-high, but they had the biggest fall on Western Hemisphere.

Well I think that Argentina is not in the developing group because this group of countries move on to beccome developed countries while Argentina makes the opposite way, it moves on becoming a thirld world country, in this movement they met on the halfway.

Venezuela will be a kind of new Zimbabwe.

I think Russia is pretty developed actually, they propably didn't include it in the ''developed group'' because is an opponent of the USA and an authoritarian country.

In terms of health and especially education it may well be, but its GDP per capita is still quite low.

Who and what qualifies Investopedia to do a HDI-like index based on HDI?

Stick to HDI - at least HDI is broadly currated.

Venezuela will be a kind of new Zimbabwe.

Comparable situation, they could be a new South Africa also. Those countries together with Cuba, Angola and Moçambique experienced important white flight.

Argentina is a failed Spanitaly. But there is a charm in their decadency.

Countries of Atlantic South America are all walking to become less rich and less devepoled. We lost ranking positions every year. Maybe the pacific countries have a shining future.

If you'll come here some day you'll feel strongly disappointed.
