This footage is being considered for inclusion into an OICD (oicd.net) project to help to revitalize images of underclass (Buraku) historical and contemporary contributions to the Japanese culture/nation. The initiative is part of wider efforts to decrease discrimination towards the underclass in Japan. Parts of this footage my be used in the final OICD (oicd.net) campaign and/or in other related film projects. Footage by Mr. Katsushi Hasegawa, project co-coordinator, Prof. Yuko Nishimura.
