My two dogs are white shepherds with pedigree papers so it would be a waste to get them tested. I did have a dog that looked like it had some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her but she was a mix so it might have been interesting to have got her tested. It would be interesting to get some Australian cattle dogs tested as they have some dingo in them.

I know someone that has a ridgeback but he called it a South African lion dog maybe because his back ground was boer

Yes they were bred to hunt lions. They have that bit of fur that rises on their back which my dog used to get. They are very powerful dogs and very loyal.

Yes they were bred to hunt lions. They have that bit of fur that rises on their back which my dog used to get. They are very powerful dogs and very loyal.

I think they were mostly bred to keep them a bay. If used for hunting the lion had to be shot by a human, there are a lot of breeds you can do that with. Still they are very powerful dogs, I have known one up close.

Asians are weird as fuck, here they keep kangals with lions and tigers in a zoo.
