My grandmother is a daughter of a Croatian immigrant (father) and a Canadian immigrant with British Isles ancestry (mother). Here are her results from two testing companies:
AncestryDNA
- Eastern Europe & Russia= 34%
- Germanic Europe= 30%
- Ireland & Scotland= 18%
- English, Wales, & NW Europe= 13%
- Baltics= 3%
- France= 2%
MyHeritage
- 43.1% North and West European
- 15.8% English
- 12.3% Irish, Scottish, and Welsh
- 15.8% East European
- 9.9% Balkan
- 3.1% Iberian
MyHeritage is the inferior of the two when it comes to her results (and my results, as well), but I thought I would show a comparison—especially because a lot of her tree is still unknown.
P.S.—our MtDNA haplogroup is U5b2c
