the Ötzi of North Holland

The story
Mienakker is located between the villages of Hoogwoud and Aartswoud. An important archaeological dig took place here in 1990. During the excavations, well-preserved remains were unearthed from the last phase of the Neolithic Age (around 4500 years ago), including the skeleton of a man. The Stone Age man is the oldest human to have been discovered in North Holland virtually intact. West Friesland is a very special place for archaeology. Nowhere else in the Netherlands do remains from the Stone Age occur on such a large scale and so well preserved. For 23 years the skeleton of Mienakker Stone Age man has been the Netherlands' best-preserved prehistoric human.

Cees

The Stone Age man is also known as Cees in West-Friesland. The name refers to the owner of the plot of land on which the excavations took place at that time: Cees J. van Berkel.

Not a huge difference I guess, aside from eye and hair pigmentation if correct.

The comparison with Ötzi is ridiculous. This man was a Proto-Italo-Celtic speaker and overwhelmingly steppe in origin. Later on, Single Grave went full crazy and started expanding in all directions under the Bell Beaker banner.

Dude looks Brunn with minor Borreby.

I think this is a phenotype from before the ones we know today. People resembling him still exist, but rarely purely.

The deeper you go, the more you see resemblance to Veddoid-like features.
